New Film Explores the Architecture and Everyday Life of Columbus, Indiana
July 18, 2017
We’re looking forward to the August 4th theatrical release of Columbus, a new film, directed by Kogonada, that celebrates the architectural legacy of Columbus, Indiana. In a glowing review, the New Yorker called the film a “tale of an intellectual blossoming” set amid a “remarkable collection of renowned works of modern architecture.” Our own Irwin Union Bank branch, designed by Partners Deborah Berke and Marc Leff, figures prominently in the film, as do many of the town’s other masterworks, including the IM Pei-designed library and the North Christian Church, designed by Eero Saarinen.
