Cummins Indy Distribution Headquarters and Rockefeller Arts Center Receive Design Awards
May 31, 2017
We are delighted that two of our recent projects, the Cummins Indy Distribution Headquarters and the Rockefeller Arts Center, have received design awards from the New York Council of the Society of Registered Architects (SARA). The Cummins project includes flexible workspace, training facilities, ground-floor retail, and a new urban park, all of which add to the revitalization of downtown Indianapolis. It was recently published in Architectural Record and received a merit award from AIA New York. Partner Deborah Berke led the design of the project with Partner Marc Leff, Principals Noah Biklen, Ameet Hiremath, and Arthi Krishnamoorthy, and Senior Principal Stephen Brockman.
The Rockefeller Arts Center at SUNY Fredonia is a multidisciplinary visual and performing arts education venue. Our work includes a major addition to and renovation of a building originally designed by IM Pei, with new spaces for dance, ceramics, set design, and digital music, among others. Deborah and Noah led the project with Partner Maitland Jones. We have a long tradition of working with art and artists on projects including the Yale School of Art, the Bard College Conservatory of Music, and the 122 Arts Community Center.
Thank you to the SARA awards jury and congratulations to all the other winners.
