70 Pine Street Residences
13 NOV 2012 – We are excited to announce that we are working with Rose Associates on the transformation of the building at 70 Pine Street, formerly the Cities Service Building.
This 66-story historic skyscraper was the third tallest building in the world when it was completed in 1932, and its glass lantern and stainless steel spire have become an icon of the lower Manhattan skyline. The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the building a Landmark in 2011; the Commission also honored its opulent lobby as an Interior Landmark. Since the American International Group sold the building in 2009, the Art Deco icon has been mostly vacant.
Our office is developing the architectural interiors for the residential floors as well as the amenity spaces.
